With an Olympic spot to boot, the U.S. women got revenge on Canada.

Having qualified for Paris, the USWNT will face third-place Jamaica for Concacaf's remaining spot in September 2023.

Along with Jamaica and Costa Rica, the USWNT and Canada qualified for next year's World Cup.

The USWNT lost its first semifinal in 20 years to the Canadians last summer.

The Americans aren't used to losing, and when it happens, they don't take it well. This is a vastly different team from the one in Tokyo.

They dominated much of the game, but couldn't dislodge Kailen Sheridan on the goal line in the second half.

In the 76th minute, Morgan scored after Rose Lavelle was tripped. Morgan scored even before his foot touched the ground.

As Sheridan dove in the opposite direction, Morgan struck the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.
